The Ekyrail Charger Booster is a powerful battery charging and starting assistance system designed specifically for locomotive applications. Built for rail maintenance facilities, the unit efficiently charges locomotive lead-acid battery banks while protecting battery life through automated charging cycles.
The system uses intelligent charging modes including Bulk, Absorption, and Float cycles, ensuring batteries are charged safely and maintained at optimal condition. When additional power is required, the booster mode can supply up to 400 amps of supplemental current to assist with locomotive starting.
