Description

The Ekyrail Automated Cable Test System (ACTS) – Communication Version is designed for railway maintenance facilities that require reliable testing combined with advanced data management. The system automatically tests MU 27-pin locomotive jumper cables, verifying continuity, dielectric isolation between conductors, and insulation to ground.

A fully automated test sequence scans every conductor combination to identify faults and wiring problems. A rapid pre-scan test can verify a functional cable in less than two minutes, while the advanced Deep-Scan feature automatically identifies the specific pins responsible for insulation breakdown or leakage.

The integrated computer and software interface display results in a clear PASS/FAIL format and store the test results in a database. The communication-enabled version allows test data to be exported and integrated into maintenance records, improving traceability and quality control for railway operations.
