Description

The EKY-AIR Electronic Air Governor is a modern and reliable replacement for traditional mechanical air governors used on locomotives. Designed for harsh railway environments, it continuously monitors air pressure and automatically activates the compressor unload function when the preset pressure is reached.

Using a high-precision electronic pressure sensor, the EKY-AIR ensures accurate and repeatable control of locomotive air systems. The unit provides a protected electronic output contact with over-voltage and over-current protection, improving reliability and reducing maintenance compared to mechanical devices.

Factory calibrated at 130–140 PSI, the unit can also be configured for other pressure ranges depending on customer requirements. With a rugged design and long sensor life, the EKY-AIR delivers dependable performance in demanding railway operating conditions.
